Why is my lifter slipping?
The following are a few items to check:
- Is the object you are trying to lift within the lifter’s range? If not, contact our sales team to discuss.
- Check pad wear. If the pads’ surfaces are in poor condition, slipping may occur. Refer to your manual or this FAQ section for details on checking pad wear.
- Is there debris between pads and object? This can be oils, dirt, paint or likewise.
- Is the lifter positioned over the center of gravity of the object? Having a large offset creates an unsafe lifting situation and can cause damage to the lifter.
