K&R Pipeline out of Waynesburg, PA came to Kenco for assistance in moving and fusing gas pipeline. The PL2750 Pipe Lift was perfect for the OD range it provided but it lacked the capacity they needed. This is one of those projects that is a very easy fix for us with a pipe lifting attachment. Adding an additional tine to this otherwise “2 tine” lift will safely increase the lifting capacity to 3400 lbs, a perfect fit for what K&R needed. Our engineering team went right to work and within a few weeks, K&R had two new Pipe Lifts to move this heavy HDPE gas pipeline.

K&R Pipeline used the lifts to pick up and move 50′ sections into machines to fuse the pipes together. They improved their production significantly and were able to move from one fusing machine to another – doubling their output.
